OhioRISE is the state’s first specialized managed care program for youth with complex behavioral health and multi-system needs. OhioRISE’S goal is to build a system of care and keep youth and families together by providing services in home and throughout their community. Enrollees will have their behavioral health services covered by Aetna Better Health of Ohio while still being able to choose their Managed Care Organization (MCO)
Who is Eligible?
OhioRISE care coordination and services are available for youth ages 0-20 and to those eligible for Ohio Medicaid. Youth are given a Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANs) assessment to determine their qualification for care coordination.
Why choose OhioRISE?
OhioRISE aims to listen to the youth and families voice and choice. By doing so, our care coordinators wrap services around the youth to benefit them with the intention of keeping youth in their communities and lessening the chance of out of home placement. We serve youth involved in child protection, juvenile justice system, developmental disabilities, education, addiction, and mental health.
