ISBH is About to Break Ground

ISBH and The Model Group closed on the necessary funding to co-develop 32 units of housing in Chillicothe for people who are chronically homeless. This will be all new construction and will be built on the former site of McArthur Elementary School on the east side of the city. The project will include ample outdoor space, supportive services, on-site laundry, and other shared amenities.

This project is made possible from funding from the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Ohio Mental Health and Addictions Services. Rental assistance will be provided by the Balance of State Continuum of Care. No resident will pay more than 30% of their income, if any.
